Target Pistol Shooting is a varied and interesting sport. It caters for all levels of participation, ranging from a social afternoon at your club, to the ultimate in competition, the Olympic Games.

There are a number of administering bodies covering various disciplines, such as;

• International Sport Shooting Federation (I.S.S.F.) - Olympics, Commonwealth Games and World Cups.

• National Rifle Association of America (N.R.A.)- Action Pistol (International 1920 Match in Australia).

• International Practical Shooting Confederation (I.P.S.C.)
• International Confederation of Revolver Enthusiasts (I.C.O.R.E.).
• Pistol Australia (P.A.) - National body administering Service Pistol, Black Powder and international teams to I.S.S.F. and N.R.A. events.

Within these disciplines there is something for all ages and physical abilities. One of the main attractions being that the whole family can participate together, rather than having to watch from the sidelines.

Male, female, adult, junior, are all catered for, and there is no discrimination or segregation during club activities. The minimum age is 12, and the membership fees are determined by the categories below;

• Single adult ($330.00 per year).
• Partner of member ($210.00 per year).
• Junior under 18 ($198.00 per year).
• Child of member under 18 ($118.00 per year).
• A $50.00 joining fee applies per adult or family.

Club Opening Hours:

The club is fully operational on Saturday between the hours of 10.00am and 4.00pm. There are organised competitions and basic hot food is available in the clubhouse. Members with their own handgun(s) can use the club facilities any day of the year.
